- **Salary**: £27,000 OTE

Description

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join the SLM Group team as **Group General Maintenance**. The role involves carrying out general repairs at our sites in St. Leonards, Uckfield and Tunbridge Wells.

**Key Job Areas of the Group General Maintenance role**:

- Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs in line with the various manufacturer standards
- Regularly perform various landscaping tasks
- Fill gaps and provide painting services
- Upkeeping any areas of sites to adhere to manufacturer standards
- Perform light carpeting and lighting installation
- Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
- Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
- Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
- Maintain an effective log of maintenance and repair work
- Attend any training or certification needed for the job
- Attend all sites within the geographical area covered for the job
- Comply with health and safety legislation and company policy at all times

**What we’re looking for in a Group General Maintenance**:

- Experience in general maintenance
- Experience with trade skills
- Experience with appropriate electrical tools and equipment
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems is preferrable
- Problem solver
- Attention to detail
- Computer and literacy skills

SLM Group continues to be a family run company and has grown to include sites across East Sussex, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk.

**Salary**: Up to £27,000.00 per year
