We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Team Leader to join our existing team at/in Leeds.

The Role:

- Manage Logistics Staff on a day-to-day basis. Organise staff so all required functions are covered, throughout the shift patterns._

**Responsibilities**:

- _Manage the stores team absence/holidays and shift patterns (using the TMS system) to ensure there is adequate cover in the department.._
- _Help to train new members and cross train all the team for cover in all areas of the department._
- _Keep SOP’s, training records and training matrix up to date and create new ones where necessary._
- _Manage drivers to ensure all required areas are covered_
- _Ensure good relationships are maintained with other department._
- _Hold weekly team meetings and regular one to one’s with the team._
- _Set targets and objectives for appraisals and monitor and encourage the team to reach them._
- _Conduct disciplinaries if and when required_
- _Monitor goods in transit and report any issues._
- _Monitor CRM on a daily basis, investigate and resolve any problems._
- _Ensure probation reviews are conducted in a timely manner and any issues are discussed and reported in these meetings._
- _Create a positive working environment, motivate and engage with all team members and give regular feedback. Ensure support is given where needed._
- _Update KPI’s and create new ones to monitor productivity and make the department more efficient._
- _Continually look at processes to drive efficiencies in the department_
- _Provide cover for the stores manager._
- _Check transport invoices._
- _Update Clinic delivery cycles as and when required_
- _Manage courier relationship and cost control_
- _Regular stock takes and investigations to satisfactory resolution as required._
- _Ensure stores area is kept tidy._
- _Any other duties as required._

Pay: Up to £28,180.00 per year
