**Rates of Pay**:
**Graded pay based on Social Care Qualifications Starting at £10.00 per hour for level one. Unsocial hours paid and mileage.**

**Care worker Job Role**:
To visit clients in their own homes and provide various care services and support. These services may include personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and some other light duties.
**Care Worker Essentials**:

- You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
- You must be prepared to undertake training or refreshers.
- You must have a genuine interest in this type of work.

**Responsibilities**:

- To assist clients throughout the day dependent on shift to wash, dress, prepare meals and administer medication when necessary.
- To help change and retire at night
- To maintain a clean and tidy home environment for the client.
- To be that social connection to alleviate loneliness and promote general health and well-being.
- Maintain client documentation
- To liaise with families and other professionals involved
- To keep client safe from harm and abuse.

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
