Business Development Manager £32,000

We have a role for a Business Development Manager who can convert warm leads as well as manage key accounts for a rapidly expanding Commercial Fuel Supplier. With over 20 years of trading, they are still driving growth and have a lot more approaching over the horizon. Initiating their next expansion phase, they will be looking for a Business Development Manager to deliver their first-class services.

In this Business Development Manager position, you will be responsible for:

- Building new client relationships and managing accounts.
- Take control of new business sales throughout the UK, you will have high level marketing support, lead generation and opportunity supervision.
- Maintain healthy client relationships ensuring an excellent reputation is kept.
- You will be confident selling for one of the leading Commercial Fuel Supplier leaving your clients happy and your commissions high.
- Direct and control the full sales process.
- Acknowledge and calculate opportunity in the market, find creative methods of building and strengthening partner relationships.
- Review accurate reports and sales strategies and forecasts.

The successful Business Development Manager will have:

- Self-motivation is key to success. You will have experience as a self-generating salesperson who can exceed targets with the company’s assistance and reputation.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and managing the account.
- As a Business Development Manager, you will need to be a relationship builder who can work with all people, start and maintain healthy business relationships.
- You must be organised and punctual to manage your day-to-day tasks to a high standard.
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a background in selling to construction/ trade companies or a person who hasn’t found their specialist industry yet and is hungry to master a lucrative industry and build a career in it.
- You will need the ability to quickly attain an understanding of the client’s needs and wants, and how you can help deliver it.
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills.

The Package

A basic salary of £24,000 - £25,000 is available for the right Business Development Manager with a rewarding commission structure of an uncapped OTE, on target earnings will be more than £32,000 + a yearly bonus.
