**Full Job Description**

Wm Pringle & Son Ltd is a privately owned Company with a fleet of 60+vehicles, and 25 trailers. We are an ambitious and successful Company determined by the skill and reliability and loyalty of our people who believe are our greatest assets. We are looking for an individual to add to our team who has the ability to work on our fleet of Vehicles, Vans and Trailers. The role of the mechanic/Technician is key to keeping the vehicles and trailers inspected, well serviced and minimise downtime, including MOT prep work and the reporting and acting on any defects or issues promptly.

**Main role responsibilities**
- Periodic Maintenance & safety inspections to DVSA standards and completion of relevant paperwork
- Diagnostic skills (both mechanical & electrical).

**Role requirements**
- Experience essential
- Excellent knowledge of trucks, trailers and vans
- Able to work under own initiative and solve all problem aspects an advantage

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Schedule**
- Monday - Friday - 7am-5pm
- Rotational Weekends 7am
- 1pm

**Ability to commute**:

**Salary**: £16.42-£20.00 per hour
