We are looking for a Band 6 Dietitian to work within the Assessment and Rehabilitation Team at Leeds Teaching Hospital. The intermediate care beds at Wharfedale Hospital & Adel Manor Recovery Hub offer assessment and rehabilitation to patients in collaboration between therapists, GPs and nursing teams.

The AHP team consists of Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. The team is supported by 5 Band 7 leads and managed by a B8a Therapy Services Manager. The teams are based at both Wharfedale Hospital and Adel Manor Care Home, they are situated close to one another, and you will be expected to work flexibly across both sites. This post holder will join an established MDT which has a strong rehabilitation focus with patients at the heart of collaborative goal setting.

The Dietitian will work with service users to provide education and practical advice tailored to their needs; ensuring strategies are in place to support their nutrition and hydration during their rehabilitation journey. You will see patients for 1:1 nutritional assessments, most commonly for nutrition support, weight management, type 2 diabetes and wound healing advice.
