Are you an experienced administrator wanting to use your organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of our patients’ journeys? Do you want to drive forward a coordinated and streamlined administrative process that revolves around the patient and their individual needs?

As our TCI Booking Clerk, you will work with a variety of staff to facilitate a seamless theatre journey for our patients; as well as acting as an ambassador for excellent customer care across the Trust.

**If successful, you will**:
Provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area ensuring effective co-ordination of their theatre schedules etc. This will include booking theatre lists, pre-assessments and carrying out cancellations in line with Trust policy.
Deliver an efficient and effective appointment scheduling and outcome service to the Pain Management team, keeping up-to-date and accurate computer recorded information on the status of patients.
Utilise computerised tracking systems to locate case notes and investigation results. Liaise with teams outside of the speciality e.g., GPs where appropriate to ensure a seamless patient journey. Ensure patient information is maintained and updated on the appropriate patient information system.
List patients for surgery based on received TCI (To Come In) cards and electronic outcomes.
Monitor the waiting list and ensure correct procedures are listed along with any other details relevant to the listing.
Monitor work lists for Choose and Book to monitor Consultant workflow and escalate to Operational Managers if necessary.
