Bar Supervisor

We are on the search for a enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic person to join us at **The Knipoch Hotel **as a **Bar Supervisor.**

Your role will include preparing mise en place, preparing drinks for our guests, monitoring and ordering stock and keeping the front and back of house areas clean and in good working order to help ensure the smooth running of the busy bar operation.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop within a renowned restaurant environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who we anticipate will have worked in a similar role within the hospitality, travel or tourism industry.

**Snap Shot Of Your Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Train and supervise bar staff, including bartenders and servers
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.

**Required Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and bartending skills
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
