**Location: Penzance**

**Lady who helps run an online George Michael fundraising group; likes reading, football, history and being out in nature, seeks a flexible, confident and empathetic personal assistant. She has a diagnosis of Spina bifida & hydrocephalus.**

**Support required**:

- Going to appointments/post office
- Accessing community i.e. going to woods, parks, cafes, attractions, special events
- Assisting and supporting with maintaining family relationships.
- Housework duties
- Some support with cooking & laundry as needed
- May be times where lady needs personal support **(Please be aware that the lady has a latex and penicillin allergy)**
- Occasional trips away

**Hourly rate of pay: £10.90 or 13.54 (if self-employed)**

**Total hours: 16 hours per week.** Some hours on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as 1 or 2 other days, which can be negotiated. All start times to be negotiated as well. May include weekends.

**Essential**:

- Full clean driving licence. She is awaiting delivery of a Motability car, which the successful applicant will be required to drive. In the meantime, the successful applicant must be willing to transport the lady in their car while needed.

- Good interpersonal skills
- A can-do attitude

**Desirable**:

- A confident approach
- Willingness to work weekends if required
- Past experience working with elderly people and children

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £10.90-£13.54 per hour
