Nursery Practitioner

As we get busier here at Ash Park

We are looking for... an Early Years Practitioner

Ash Park is a brand new Nursery, which will eventually be able to care for 30 children daily. Therefore we are looking for someone who has a passion for caring and nurturing babies and young children, whilst supporting their learning and development, ensuring we are giving them the best start in life

As your role as an Early Years Practitioner you will...

Have some understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Be familiar and have some understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities in Childcare provisions.
Be able to plan exciting, inviting and challenging learning opportunities that are appropriate for the stage and age of the children
Develop good, strong and positive relationships with both the children and their families
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Have good communication skills
Have a good imagination, especially when being treated to countless amounts of cups of tea and sausages
Open-minded and positive
Observe and monitor children's development in line with our "In the Moment" planning.
Be keen to support children's learning in both indoor and outdoor environments, no matter the British weather
Sing in or out of tune Nursery Rhymes time and time again

Training & Qualifications:
Relevant Childcare Qualification (Desirable).
Paediatric First Aid Training (Desirable).

Job Details:
Full Time or Part Time available.
Start Date - ASAP

Hours will be between 7.30 - 18.30, Monday to Friday.
Excluding Bank Holidays and 1 week at Christmas

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
