Delivery Driver

Olive Grove Oundle is a dynamic and innovative plant centre, renowned for its extensive collection of Olive Trees and Specimen Plants in the UK. As the leading supplier in the country, we are dedicated to providing expert advice and exceptional customer service to our nationwide clientele.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our small team as a Delivery Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Olive Trees across the UK, flexibility in your work schedule will be required as some days may require longer hours. When not on the road, you will be helping out at the nursery, sorting and preparing Olive trees for delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a delivery vehicle (Luton van, flatbed and trailer).
- Deliver Olive trees and related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner, following routes and schedules.
- Load, unload and position olive trees ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the delivery vehicles, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and performing routine inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful when interacting with customers during deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and towing license.
- Ability to lift heavy trees and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Knowledge or interest in horticulture, particularly Olive Trees and Specimen Plants, is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
