Import Clerk

**Job Title: Import Coordinator**

**Location: Harrogate, HG3**

**Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday**

**Salary: £30,000 - £35,000**

This role forms part of a family business dealing with importing goods globally & exporting within the UK.

You’ll be responsible for managing the import & export process from start to finish and ensure products comply with international and domestic regulations and in accordance with HMRC customs regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate import/export shipments, including custom clearance and documentation
- Monitor and analyse import/export data to identify any issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Develop, maintain and update internal policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits across all areas of regulatory compliance

**Essential Skills**:

- Previous experience working in an import position
- Experience with HMRC regulations
- Strong administrative, organisational, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills inc Microsoft Office
