**Responsibilities**:
Provide personalized care and support to elderly clients in their own homes or care facilities, tailored to their individual needs.
Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes to the care manager or healthcare professionals.
Engage clients in social, recreational, and cognitive activities to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing regular updates on their well-being and addressing any concerns.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required.
**Requirements**:
A thorough understanding of person-centred care principles and best practices in elderly care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with elderly individuals and a commitment to promoting their dignity, well-being, and independence.
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
