Head of Procurement, Procurement Director
An exciting new opportunity to join this hugely successful and established Norfolk FMCG business. The role can be remote based with the exception of just 1 day per week in the office long-term. With high levels of autonomy and profile, this role will take ownershipfor developing and embedding a best practice procurement function. Key areas of focus will be to: create and socialise a procurement strategy that can futureproof the business; develop strategic and tactical tools to measure performance, develop capacity andcapability; drive stakeholder buy-in and support both internally and externally; develop supply chain opportunities that help deliver business development opportunities; deliver structured savings throughout the supply chain; and recruit, manage and developa high-performing procurement team.
To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrable procurement leadership experience from a FMCG, Food or Pharmaceutical working environment, have excellent leadership and communication skills and a positive, self-motivated approach to your work. Experienceof a greenfield or brownfield procurement operation would be beneficial.
