Kennel Assistant

Experienced kennel and cattery assistant required for 5 day week - this job includes weekends. Must be reliable with a good work ethic.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily care for animals, including cleaning, feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting any concerns to the manager
- Assist with grooming tasks, such as bathing and brushing
- Assist with handling and restraining animals during examinations or procedures
- Provide basic customer service, including answering phone calls and assisting clients with inquiries
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of animal care and treatments

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with animals is required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks associated with animal care.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32.5 per week
