With 50 years of gas safety expertise, CORGI Technical Services ("CTS") provides auditing, consultancy and training services to the social housing and facilities management sectors. We are currently looking to expand our nationwide team of Electrical Inspectors to fulfil existing customer contracts across the country. Currently looking for applicants located in, and willing to cover the following areas **-West/North Wales and surrounding area**.

**CTS are currently looking for expressions of interest for Sub-Contracting Electrical Inspectors in the above areas only.**

**MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE ROLE**

**Reports To**:Technical Safety Manager
- Undertake a predetermined number of audits in an agreed period
- Inspecting installations for safety and compliance against legislative requirements and best practice
- Supporting other Inspectors in a given region
- Work within a given region and willingness to undertake occasional travel out of their given region but within the U.K.
- Dealing with general enquiries around technical matters and providing information on Electrical Installation Condition Reports
- Complying with company policies and procedures
- Inputting findings using CTS digital platform
- On occasion planning their own work (depending on the contractual service level agreements in place)
- Working on several contracts within a given region

**Sub-Contract workers will be provided with**:

- CORGI branded work wear
- Tablet/smart device if required
- Fuel payment depending on mileage over agreed terms
- Sub-Contractors will need to provide: _
- Own Vehicle (suitable for the type of work)
- Electronic Multi Function Tester / Test Instruments (calibrated)
- Fuel
- Work materials (sundries/documents)
- Maintain own Competent Persons Scheme registration
- Required insurances (e.g. Public liability £5 MIL)

**Essential**
- Time served electrical qualifications - City & Guilds or equivalent
- Hold or working to attain 18th Edition Regulations C&G or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2382-18 Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations or Level 3 VRQ Certificate in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (With practical testing experience)

**Desirable**
- Experience in carrying out third party safety and quality audits - desirable but not essential as full training to our high standards will be provided
- A1, A2 assessor (D32,33) or NVQ assessor qualification - desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- City & Guilds 6317 Certificate in Assessment and Quality Assurance - desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- Appropriate qualifications and experience for In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) e.g. City & Guilds 2377-22
