Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join one of our key clients in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Our client are a well-known business within the distribution sector and have local and international reach.
The Warehouse Manager will be reporting directly into the General Manager and the Managing Director. As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the warehouse management along with health & safety and compliance.
Duties include but are not limited to:

- Warehouse Management
- Managing 6 direct reports
- Working closely with customers - improving work flow and efficiencies
- Managing staff levels - ensuring enough resource is available to maintain day to day operations
- Responsible for promotion and delivery of all legislation including H&S, employment law and managing both internal and external audits for compliance
- Managing warehouse budget efficiently within required parameters
- Working closely with both existing and potential customers to increase revenue
- Lead on promoting training and development of staff within warehouse
- Providing leadership, motivation to build an effective and engaged workforce / environment
- Monday to Friday - 10am - 8pm ( This will change to 8am - 6pm after successful probation)
- 45 hours per week
- Working 1 in 8 Saturdays (AM only)
- Up to £35,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
- Eastleigh SO50
Person Specification for this Warehouse Manager role:

- Previous experience in Warehouse Manager / Supervisor role, where you have managed and developed a team is ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of stock management software
- Previous experience with budget management
- Proficient with warehouse health & safety procedures.
