The thriving West Kent Health & Care Partnership (West Kent HCP) integration are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity for a Programme Officer to join the team supporting our work.
The HCP priorities involve the full range of partner organisations and together have funded a Joint Programme Management Office (JPMO) to support delivery of the agreed programme. This post would be based in the JPMO who report to the West Kent HCP Director and will be working with the full range of partners in health and care.
This Programme Officer position will have a key role in supporting the delivery of West Kent HCP projects; assisting the West Kent HCP Head of JPMO in scoping, planning, implementing and reporting on the progress of the projects through the West Kent HCP governance structure. At present the role focuses on supporting primary care, digital and data initiatives, however as the West Kent HCP priority portfolio delivers and develops, the support focus will change in response.
The post holder will require experience in programme management and multi-disciplinary working and managing complex change and transformation programme arrangements across multiple organisations and systems.

The Joint PMO Programme Officer has a key role in supporting the delivery of the West Kent HCP programmes and projects, assisting the West Kent HCP Head of JPMO in providing performance assurance and robust reporting to the West Kent HCP governance structure.
The postholder will ensure that standard project management methodologies are applied in accordance with the West Kent HCP Joint PMO Manual, i.e. provide high quality support in developing, maintaining and managing various dashboards, logs, plans, reports and other tools in accordance with the West Kent HCP JPMO control methodology. At present the role focuses on supporting primary care and digital and data initiatives, however, as the West Kent HCP priority portfolio delivers and develops, this will change in response.
The role will support delivery of the programmes and projects, as well as highlighting testing and challenging where necessary and escalating risks, issues and obstacles to the Executive Sponsor and Overall Programme Lead as required, including development of any recovery plans.
The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the West Kent HCP Director and Executive Sponsors, Overall Programme Leads and programme/project groups, linking in with relevant partners and organisations - finance, IT, procurement, Business Improvement and communications leads as necessary to ensure projects are monitored and quality and/or value benefits are reported in order to gain evidence for assurances purposes.
