**CX Subject Matter Expert**
**Bournemouth**

As a Barclays CX Subject Matter Expert, your role is to assist the Financial Crime Screening Management Work stream leader in the execution of duties in support of the Financial Crime Screening process. You will be complying with Barclays Group Sanctions Policy to ensure compliance with regard to screening and searching and cross border payments screening. You will operate Barclays sanctions screening solutions by identifying and dealing appropriately with sanctions requirements on a timely basis and managing various Screening related tasks.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Continuing with your own BAU case management required by demand within the team
- Dealing with complex/technical queries referred by team members/stakeholders
- Supporting the team on QA and QC feedback errors and working with both People and Work stream lead
- Reviewing potential changes to procedures
- Providing guidance and decisions to the sub-team to support their review activity, particularly in complex cases
- Escalating relevant matters to People Lead

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience of working at one with other colleagues, to achieve and often beat their objectives
- An excellent knowledge of relevant systems (e.g. Fullserve, QMS, Customer System, OWS and Global PEP Register)
- Excellent ability to make tough decisions based on supporting evidence, and be able to support those decisions

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Minimum of twelve months in current role as analyst
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Broad knowledge of operational risk requirements and standards applicable to the relevant processes and procedures

**Where will you be working?**
The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door. We have a significant number of restaurants and sports clubs locally which make this a great office to work in. We work very closely with our BUK colleagues and share the growing Barclays Eagle Lab on site. This creates significant interest across the region and provides an opportunity for the teams to get together regularly.
