**The Role**

This is not your typical accounting role. Come be a part of a proactive team within our Grand Prix Events** **brand. You will need to be highly organized and with a keen eye for attention to detail, working to tight monthly accounting deadlines and be willing to get ‘stuck in’ to a variety of Accounting functions within the department. With the opportunity to develop and assist on cash flow forecasting and fx exchange, your core duties will be to manage and close Event accounts through the F1 Season, working closely with the Operations Team, assist in preparation of management accounts and preparing Company and staff commission reporting.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing Event close off (spreadsheets/payables/receivable)
- Assisting in Xero reconciliation
- Managing aged receivables
- Checking and approving Supplier statements
- Raising recharge invoices
- Approving payables in Xero
- Managing Company credit card reconciliation and expenses
- Creating monthly Commission reports from Salesforce
- Assisting in monthly close off for Management Accounts, including some journal entries
- Managing customer credits and refunds (liaising with Operations team)

**Requirements**:
Education and Experience
- 4 years bookkeeping and junior level Management accounting/part qualified.
- Some experience in Event management industry preferable.
- Some experience of SalesForce useful.

Skills/Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Xero essential
- Used to working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Proven track record of problem solving, and issue resolution.
- Highly organized and adaptable to helping out with other duties within a small team.
