We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Finance Controller to join our team in the fast-growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. As the Finance Controller, you will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and reporting on the financial health and performance of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and managing cash flow.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Financial Management**: Develop and implement robust financial management processes, policies, and controls. Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analyzing variances, and identifying areas for improvement.

**2. Budgeting and Forecasting**: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting to support business decisions. Collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets aligned with the company's strategic goals. Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual performance on an ongoing basis.

**3. Cash Flow Management**: Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to support business operations. Determine funding requirements and develop strategies to optimize working capital efficiency. Monitor cash flow projections and make financial decisions to maintain a healthy financial position.

**4. Financial Analysis**: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business planning and decision-making. Conduct cost analysis, identify potential risks, and recommend actions to mitigate them. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for new initiatives and product launches.

**5. Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and contract obligations. Oversee the timely preparation and submission of financial reports and tax filings. Coordinate and support external audits and internal controls reviews.

**6. Team Management and Development**: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial processes. Provide coaching and mentoring, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and promote professional development within the team.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.

2. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial management roles, preferably in the SaaS industry.

3. Strong knowledge of SaaS revenue recognition policies, subscription-based models, and key financial metrics for SaaS businesses (ARR, CAC, LTV, etc.).

4. Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

5. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards (US GAAP preferred) and experience with financial reporting.

6. Advanced proficiency in financial software and analytical tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling software).

7. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and senior leadership.

9. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

10. Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed or publicly-traded SaaS company is a plus.
