Caretaker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to maintain a clean and orderly environment for our facility. The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.

**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Monitor building security and report any safety hazards or damages
- Maintain outdoor areas including sidewalks, parking lots, and green spaces
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings as needed

**Skills**:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Non-Residential Caretaker with a minimum of six months or more experience. Must understand health and safety, and the use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH). Ability to work on own initiatives an advantage.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Good physical health to handle manual labor tasks

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £16.93 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
