Residential Children's Learning Disability Support

We are looking for dedicated children's home support workers in Leytonstone, to be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people who have a diagnosed learning disability. The aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional well-being of the children/young people, and assist in their positive holistic development, we require passionate and driven people who want to make a significant difference to the lives of vulnerable children, supporting them with independence, being able to follow their support plans and behaviour support plans consistently and being able to develop a strong bond and trusting relationship.
Afternoons 2pm-8pm/10pm
Full days 8am-8pm (school holidays and weekends)
This is a mixture of weekdays and weekends, the home is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and staff are required to work over a 7 day period (40 hrs per week)
*DBS essential
*level 3 in residential childcare desirable or the willingness to complete the qualification within 2 years
Childcare/residential care experience desirable.
