**Accountant**
The role is a great combination of day to day transaction management, reporting and analysis so you will get to know the business inside out and be able to have a real impact. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset, who wants to learn and make a difference.
So, if you have a few years’ worth experience in finance and looking to utilise your experience in a growing group then this is the ideal position.
- Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts for the group
- Providing analysis to help preparation of the accounts
- Preparing journals including accruals, prepayments and intercompany recharges
- Reconciling multiple bank accounts
- Manage invoice discounting upload portal and monthly reconciliations
- Adhoc analysis tasks for the finance managers within the group
- Monthly ledger reconciliations
- Draft VAT returns
- Providing support to the wider Group Finance team and business functions
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Proven track record in similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent excel skills
- Experience using an ERP system
- Ability to work in a fast paced team
- Part qualification in CIMA/ACCA/AAT
Ideal but not essential:
- Experience in manufacturing
- Experience of group transactions and consolidation
