Relief Cinema Cleaner

The Picture House is looking for an experienced relief cleaner to work 2 days per week - either Monday and Tuesday early mornings (from approximately 7am - 9am) or Sunday and Monday late evenings (approximately 11pm - 1am). Due to the nature of this role, applicants must live within a 10mile radius of Uckfield.

The job involves picking up any leftover rubbish in the venue, vacuuming all three auditoriums, the foyer and the hallways, cleaning and mopping 4 toilets, emptying all bins and any other duties as discussed at the time.

The level of the work, and therefore the time entailed, will vary from week to week, dependent on the busyness of the venue, but we estimate it will be between 1 hour and 2.5 hours per shift (providing there are 2 people working). Employees must follow a checklist of duties each shift, and cannot punchout until they have been completed.

Applicants must be trustworthy and be able to provide suitable references. Attention to detail and pride in presenting a job well done is essential. All cleaning materials will be supplied, and training will be provided. A DBS check may be requested.

You will be working with another member of staff for each shift, so the ability to forge good working relationships with others will be invaluable.

Pay is hourly, dependent on the work required each week. You will punch in and out of each shift and be paid accordingly.
