The primary purpose of the Oversight team is to ensure high quality output and regulatory compliance of fund accounting and financial reporting activities outsourced to third party service providers, particularly in relation to the production and disseminationof fund/class prices, financial statements, and associated deliverables.
This will be achieved through:

- Ongoing monitoring and due diligence
- The identification and mitigation of operational risk
- Building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders
- Putting investors and clients first
- Ensure accounting standard and policies are continually maintained
- This role will play an integral part in achieving this objective

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**:

- Assist in the analysis of output from third party service providers to ensure the required standards are being achieved.
- Assist in the preparation and/or review of Management Information and Key Performance Indicators produced by the external providers and internally in LASFS
- Assist in the review and processing of invoices received
- Support the delivery of continuous improvement plans.
- Support management on any ad hoc projects or deliverables.
- Support oversight activities by assisting in the timely and accurate response to queries and production of accounting information required by third party service providers, investment managers and other LASFS departments.
- Ensure procedures are followed and updated as required in order to comply with all applicable regulations and deliverables.

**Experience & Personal Attributes**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (including Maths and English), grade C or above
