We are looking for volunteers to support Mencap’s Youth Team. The youth team deliver projects and social activities for young people in Belfast with a learning disability, to gain new skills, develop their confidence and build relationships with others

Our **FIVE project** delivers sessions on a **Monday and Wednesday evening 6:30-8:30pm.** In addition to the **FIVE project** we also have many social activities and events throughout the month, all based in the Mencap Centre Belfast.

We are looking for volunteers to commit to two-three hours a week. There can be flexibility with these hours.

As a volunteer you will support young people in all aspects of the youth activities, this could be 1:1 engagement with the young person or facilitating a group activity with support from the youth workers present.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and friendly volunteers who have an interest in supporting young people, specifically those with a learning disability. Additional talents are warmly welcomed.

**Job Type**: Volunteer

**Salary**: £10.00 per day
