Sports Writer
- Become an interviewer and writer for Ultrarunner Magazine, publishing regular online articles and interviews and forming part of the team taking the online hub, podcast, youtube channel and printed magazine to the next level

Interviewing some of the leading names in the world of ultra-running endurance, race directors, coaches and liasing with some of the biggest ultrarunning brands in the sport. An exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the magazine.

Applicants should share our love for writing and have a passion for the extraordinary, be reliable, creative, trustworthy and self-motivating. Full time position of 38 hours working from our office in Warrington (opening soon).

There's a wide range of stories, so you will be creative and resourceful. After training, you may well be asked to take a story from an initial idea to interview (for podcast or youtube) to article with a strong turnaround time.

Ultrarunner Magazine covers everything from the hardest ultra-marathon events in the world to the human-interest features, fastest known times, fundraising and the inspiring stories. You should be aware of the importance of holding a high quality interview. Good writing skills and judgement are essential.

A willingness to learn the sport and the importance of your role within a small team.

**Salary**: £6.83-£9.50 per hour
