**Bank Pantry Hostess | Host/Hostess | Spire Gatwick Park | Horley, West Sussex | Flexible working hours**

Spire Gatwick Park are looking for a Pantry Hostess to provide a quality of food and beverage service to patients and visitors at ward/daycare level working with the Support services, administration and Nursing teams.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for taking meal orders from patients and visitors on a daily basis.
- Observe all dietary requirements as identified on nurses list and ensure patient’s menu choice is compatible
- Convey compliments and complaints relating to food and food services to the line manager
- Report to nursing staff patients who may be experiencing eating difficulties e.g. poor appetite, difficulty in swallowing or chewing
- Ensures that all crockery and cutlery is presented to the patient clean and undamaged.
- Reports all incidents of damage to stock and equipment to the line manager
- Responsible for washing, drying and putting away of returned trays, crockery, cutlery and glassware

**Who we're looking for**:

- Experience working unsupervised and on own initiative, prioritising tasks
- A positive and flexible approach to customer service
- Good communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Willing and able to complete mandatory training for COSSH, Manual Handling, Infection Control, food hygiene and Health & Safety in-house.

**Working Hours**:Shifts earlies: 6.30-14.30, Lates: 11.00- 19.00 or 17.00- 21.00 over any 7 days

**Contract Type: Bank - 0 hours contract**
