- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacement
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare the roof surface for installation
- Install new roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
- Repair or replace damaged or missing shingles, tiles, or flashing
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and building codes
- Clean up debris and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Previous experience as a roofer or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Experience with carpentry, masonry, welding, plumbing, or other related skills is a plus
- Familiarity with power tools and ability to safely operate them
- Ability to fabricate and build structures as needed
