A fast growing NGO/Charity specialising in Sports is looking for a Communications Manager to join their London team.

**The Role**

Reporting into the Marketing & Communications Director, you will drive communications and lead social media deliverables, working closely with the rest of the Marketing team and agency partners.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and deliver the Communications Strategy, with key responsibilities around planning, creation and distribution of content across all channels
- Copywrite and copyedit a wide variety of communications deliverables
- Establish, maintain and develop digital and social media channels
- Create engaging content, including press releases, news articles, campaigns, social media
- Develop and manage the website (including Search Engine Optimisation)
- Set, monitor and manage KPIs, media impact and engagement, including paid media activity
- Develop and maintain partnership with key sponsors and partners (schools, sport clubs, universities etc.)
- Assist in the planning and delivery of virtual and physical events, including media relations.

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Strong experience of communications delivery and of managing key digital and social media channels, projects or campaigns
- Background in content creation for digital and social media
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal/presentation and in writing/copywriting/editing
- Analytical skills for performance monitoring (use of Excel and other tools to produce reports)
- Interest and/or passion in Sports
- Desirable_:

- PR experience with knowledge of consumer, corporate and sports media
- Experience using CRM systems to manage contact databases
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Experience planning and implementing effective SEO practices
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
