**Term**:

- 37.5 hours per week primarily based in our Kettering office
- This role may involve flexible working hours during busy periods

**Salary and benefits**:
Salary £26325 - £32175 per annum depending on experience

**Reporting Structure**:
The product developer will report to the Qualifications Manager

**Job overview**:
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead the development of new qualifications, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Design effective lesson plans, presentations, and educational resources that cater to various learning styles and levels.
- Develop comprehensive textbooks and supplementary materials to support learners throughout their qualification journey.
- Utilise instructional design principles to structure lessons, activities, and assessments in an engaging and effective manner.
- Incorporate technology and interactive elements to enhance the learning experience and promote learner engagement.
- Ensure that developed qualifications meet the needs of diverse learners, including accessibility requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance Coordinators and other relevant teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of developed materials.
- Stay updated on educational methodologies, instructional design trends, and technology advancements that can enhance qualification delivery.

**Key Duties and Tasks**:

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for new qualification development.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans, presentations, and educational resources aligned with qualification requirements.
- Develop engaging and informative textbooks and supplementary materials for learners.
- Utilise technology and interactive elements to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure developed qualifications are accessible and cater to diverse learner needs.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance Coordinators to ensure the quality and accuracy of materials.
- Stay informed about educational methodologies and trends to enhance qualification delivery.
- Manage multiple development projects and timelines effectively.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Qualifications**:
Formal qualifications are not essential for this role however a degree in education or instructional/learning design or a related field is desirable.

**Experience**:

- 3 years of experience in qualification development, instructional design, or a related role.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- In-depth understanding of qualification development processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive lesson plans, presentations, and educational materials.
- Strong instructional design skills to structure effective and engaging lessons.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and collaborate effectively.
- Experience in utilising technology and interactive elements to enhance learning materials.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address the unique needs of learners.
