Clevedon is a lovely seaside town with an easy commute from Bristol. We have a list size of approximately 16,400 patients and work from a modern purpose-built premises with onsite staff parking. We are situated next to the community hospital which offers a full range of support services.
Clevedon Medical Centre has a thriving multi-disciplinary team of GPs, pharmacists, nurses, physicians associates and a paramedic who deliver an excellent standard of clinical care to our local population. Our openness and flexibility to the needs of our staff, alongside our sociability has led to excellent staff retention across clinical and non-clinical roles.
We are also supported by a brilliant team of managers, secretaries, receptionists and administrative staff who enable us to deliver effective patient care with patient access being our top priority. We pride ourselves on our supportive and team working approach to healthcare delivery
**The role**
The role would involve telephone triage, face-to-face consultations and home visits. We have a large frail elderly population and your role will involve working with our GPs. We also have some work in anticipatory care home visits and also care home work available. The practice has a strong background of teaching and research and there is scope within the role to expand areas of interest including chronic disease management. Our experienced GPs and senior nurses will support and mentor you. We have an open learning environment with regular in-house educational sessions, audit and significant event meetings.
- Desired qualifications
- Independent prescriber
- Master level qualification in advanced practice or working towards similar level.
- Alternatively similar modules covering physical assessment, diagnostics and treatment planning.
