Quality Auditor

We are looking for a **Quality Auditor** to work at our site based in **Holton, Halesworth**. This job is **100% centred around a factory environment, on the shop floor**.

The post holder is responsible for working to strict safety and quality requirements to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity.

Key Responsibilities
- Record actions & escalate non-conformances to the appropriate level
- Cross reference incoming raw materials against agreed supplier specifications
- Challenge bad practice where seen and drive improvement through coaching and training
- Facilitate the collection of samples for the testing schedule
- Collect samples & conduct analysis, recording results and following through on corrective actions
- Other ad hoc exercises as directed by the Quality Manager

Skills & Abilities
- Good knowledge and understanding of both written and spoken English
- Fully aware of HACCP principles
- Allergen awareness
- Champion good manufacturing practice
- Preferably with experience in the Food industry
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Aptitude for problem solving and accuracy.
- Able to prioritise workload and work to set targets.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to be spontaneous and flexible in responding to tasks
- Available for overtime shifts where required
- Support in auditing relevant factory areas

Job Details
- Contractual Hours: average of 40-42 hours per week
- Work Pattern: 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern on nights 6pm - 6am
- £11.95 per hour
- Free Transport from Norwich, Great Yarmouth

**Experience**:

- Quality Auditor: 1 year (preferred)
- Food Production: 1 year (preferred)
