**PMLD Teacher - Bradford**

**A special school in Bradford is looking for a PMLD Teacher. The school provides education to children with SEN, challenging behaviours, and complex difficulties.**

You will be working in a highly inspired environment teaching the pupils key life skills. This is an area where a lot of the pupils eagerly engage and can express their creative side. As the teacher it is vital to focus the pupil's attention on the taskat hand but also allow the pupils to use their imagination to their full potential.
- PMLD Teacher, Bradford - West Yorkshire
- £130 - £200 per day (Depending on Pay Scale/Experience)
- Full time position, immediate start

Role:

- A good understanding of the National Curriculum
- Experienced using a range of communication techniques; Makaton, BSL and PECS
- Demonstrate high levels of teaching and support the children to their full potential
- Be familiar with Individual Learning Plans, EHCP and Risk Assessments
- Be enthusiastic, nurturing and patient
- Be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies

**Requirements**:

- Full UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PMLD children
- Team Teach training is preferred, although this can be offered by Veritas
- Have proof of eligibility to work in the UK
