Are you an experienced Forklift Operator with skills in operating articulate forklifts and flexi trucks in narrow aisle conditions? If so, we want you to join our team

We need your expertise to support our Material Handling Team in moving heavy goods safely and efficiently, contributing to the goods inward and picking process. This is a 3-month contract role with a possible extension.

**Key Responsibilities**:
General
Unload goods from supply chain deliveries ensuring goods are not damaged upon receipt.
Put away materials to the correct stock locations with due care and attention requiring the use of a forklift truck.
Pick materials from the stock locations with due care and attention requiring the use of a forklift truck.
Unpack parts from fibrous shipping materials and ensure that individual parts are appropriately protected and identified accordingly for goods receiving.
Ensure that part identification is displayed with the correct information.
Deliver material to the destination zone at the time requested.
Provide support to other departments for the movement of materials.
Provide cover to other departments during absences and busy periods.
Work on a shift pattern in line with the rota notified to you by your Line Manager.
Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably requested by the Company.

**Education / Qualifications**: Counterbalance forklift truck ticket essential. VNA forklift articulated ticket essential. English and Maths to numeracy and literacy.

**Professional Skills/ Abilities**: Experience operating forklift trucks and flexi trucks in narrow aisle essential. Can communicate with colleagues. Has knowledge of warehouse operations. Able-bodied, as some lifting is < 25kgs involved in the job.

**Personal Qualities**: Able to work in a team that positively contributes to achieving department and company goals. Demonstrates a passion for their role and the business. Can build relationships and help others by sharing knowledge and experience. Has good time management by being reliable and punctual with a positive attitude to work. Has a strong, positive work ethic who's dedicated to complete tasks on time and to a high standard of quality. Shares information and knowledge to improve their own and others' contributions to the business. Takes responsibility for their work and seeks ways to continually improve the level of satisfaction to internal and external customers. Tidy and clean in appearance and can uphold the standards of a clean working environment.
