Our client 6G Internet is a provider of Broadband services in the Northwest of England. 6G Internet is the entrepreneurial, high growth, challenger brand in the regulated and fiercely competitive broadband and home Wi-Fi sector. 6G Internet are buildingtheir own air fibre network and rolling out from town to town across the Northwest of England.

A strategic channel to the end customer for 6G is through their website. This role as a UI/UX Designer is part of a growth plan to maximise this strategic route to market. You will be responsible for helping to implement and deliver the web marketing messageon a day-to-day basis. This requires both a hands on/can do attitude and the ability to work with limited supervision. You will be able to work autonomously when evaluating user requirements and collaborate with in-house developers and managers to illustrateand bring design concepts to life.

Your role will require you to collaborate with other departments (example the Creative Content Team / Head of Marketing) to interpret the creative concept into a smooth customer journey. You will also design process flows or sitemaps.

To succeed in this role you must be an organized, reliable and results-driven professional. You must have a practical mind to solve problems on the spot partnered with an ability to see the "big picture" and make improvements. As a UI/UX Designer, you willhave excellent communication skills.

**Key duties of the UI /UX designer**

Collect and evaluate user requirements with the help of product managers and engineers.

Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts.

Create prototypes that clearly show how sites work and look.

Make impactful graphic designs, making amendments based on user feedback relating to font, colour, and image style guidelines.

Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.

Working with a wide range of media types.

Ensuring the client brand guidelines are met.

Overall management of your own 'to-do’ lists.

Communication and management of issues and delays.

Quality of work completed.

Creative contribution to the team as a whole.

Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, brand management, web developers and marketing specialists.

**Requirements of the UI/UX Designer**

Ideally, a bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or a related field is required.

Work experience as a UI/UX designer or in a related role is required.

Portfolio of work in UI/UX design for mobile and web platforms.

Ability to communicate complex ideas;
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office;
Ability to report accurate data across all systems;
To take ownership of projects and ensure they are followed through with detail.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe XD (or similar tools).
