Overview:
Element has an exciting opportunity for a
**Quality Coordinator** in a diverse and growing certification business. Based in the South East, but with a global portfolio of certification clients, you will work with the Quality Manager in the maintenance and development of our accreditations that support our certification schemes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a key contact and liaison point for accreditation bodies in the management and ongoing maintenance of accreditations
- Support the Compliance department in maintaining accreditation standards
- Ensure the impartiality and objectivity of all operations and activities in the delivery of services
- Manage and deliver a programme of system and procedure review, involving various stakeholders across the business, instilling the principles of continuous improvement
- Ensure that systems and operational activities are challenged in order to be compliant with accreditation and scheme requirements
- Support the planning, delivery and follow up of the internal audit programmes, including witnessed audits across the accredited business
- Compile statistical data, write reports provide monthly accruals
- Support in identifying areas that require improvement in the quality of operational delivery
- Assist in coordinating external accreditation and internal audits
- Ensure audit findings are investigated and responded to by business, and support in the identification of full root cause, correction and corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Coordinate external and internal compliance and impartiality meetings
- Acknowledge and coordinate complaints, incidents, disputes, stakeholder concerns etc. until closure within a timely manner in line with procedures
- Coordinate the Management Review Meetings
- Request purchase order numbers and confirming when goods are received
- Any other duties required related to this role

Skills / Qualifications:

- Educated to first degree level or equivalent
- QMS or equivalent 2nd party auditor qualification or above
- Knowledge of quality, environmental or OHSAS systems
- Experience working in a quality / compliance role
- Experience of working with standards
- Experience of internal audits
- Exposure to an organisation that holds / held certification
- Ideally experience of manufacturing, construction, timber and related industries
- Understanding of technical documents
