Islington, United Kingdom New Formation Education Full time

New Formation Education are currently working with a school in the borough of Islington to find a Behaviour Mentor to work with their pupils 1-2-1 or in small groups. The school is a Primary school with students that have varying SEMH and behavioural needs. You will work closely with the teaching staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment. You will contribute to the implementation of personalized education plans, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support and encouragement to reach their full potential.

What are the school looking for?
- Previous experience with children that have Special Needs is a must.
- The ability to establish relationships and build trust with students.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and respond to changing circumstances.
