**TRAINEE BLIND AND CURTAIN FITTER**

**HAYLE TR27 - UP TO £19,760**

**SALARY TO BE REVIEWED UPON COMPLETION OF TRAINING**

Due to continued growth and an ongoing demand for our services, Westcountry Blinds are now actively seeking a Trainee Blind and Curtain Fitter to join our existing Team. Working alongside experienced members of staff, you will learn to measure and fit various type of blinds, curtains and shutters, along with external awnings.

Based in Hayle, but working throughout the County, the successful applicant will be working in customers homes and business premises. Due to this, the postholder will require a full, clean driving license and have a willingness to travel, as well as the ability to communicate to customers and clients at all levels.

Day-to-day tasks will require you to be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, as well as being able to think on your feet and resolve any potential issues on site with minimum fuss.
- This working hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00, you will be required to work 1 Saturday every other week, hours being 09:00-13:00._

**IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANT**

**Requirements**:
Full, clean driving license

Own vehicle to travel into our showroom each day

Confident driving ability as you will be required to use company vehicles to travel

Willingness to travel throughout Cornwall (using company vehicles)

**Responsibilities**:
Work alongside experienced members of staff to measure and fit all internal blinds, curtains and shutters, along with external awnings

Polite, punctual and well-presented whilst representing the business in the field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines

**Desirable**:
Experience or qualification in Carpentry/Interior Fitting or similar field

Previous experience using tools/taking accurate measurements within a working environment
