£13.50 to £15.00 per hour
Full time hours Monday to Friday 9-17.00
The Support Worker role consists of;
Prioritising housing, tenancies by working closely with the tenant, landlords and housing associations
Support is provided on a case by case basis working towards the transition for the client and the complexity of their needs, the aim is to allow the client to make choices to help them maintain their tenancy, finances, improve on health and wellbeing and encouragement to make positive lifestyle choices
Key competencies and knowledge for this role include
Experience working managing a team of support workers
Experience of working with vulnerable people with complex needs
Understanding of tenancy/housing management, including welfare benefits
Knowledge and experience and understanding of homelessness prevention
Knowledge and understanding of ex offenders, mental health
Working closely with with multi agency
Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good administration, organisation and planning skills
