**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a trained friendly Barista / All rounder to join our team. The role will be varied including some barista work where you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organised work area. As an allrounder you should be happy to help with all aspects of the business including serving at the till, pot wash duties, serving drinks, clearing tables and general cleaning.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks e.g. frappes
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently on the toll
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other beverage equipment
- Ensure that all beverages are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning coffee machines, countertops, and utensils
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the day
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assisting in all aspects of the business
- Washing, drying and putting away crockery
- Serving and clearing tables
- Sweeping and mopping the cafe when required

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and cashing up at the end of the day
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Punctuality to arrive on time to shifts
- Strong attention to detail for preparing beverages with precision
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and to remain calm under pressure
- Friendly team player willing to help wherever possible amongst a small team

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
