**Role Overview**

The primary responsibility for the Residents’ Liaison Officer is to serve as the initial point of contact for all residents and visitors, providing them with the necessary support and assistance while delivering a high-quality concierge service akin to that of a top-tier hotel. This entails projecting the quality image of St. George's Park and upholding its standards of excellence. Additionally, the role involves acting as a liaison between the management team and village residents, representing St. George's Park interests at meetings and subcommittees as necessary. This ensures effective communication and collaboration between all parties involved, fostering a harmonious and cohesive community environment within the village.

**Resident Interaction**
- Build strong working relationships with residents, getting to know them individually, from their settling in to moving out.
- Listen to the residents to understand their needs and react accordingly.
- Liaise with emergency services and families as required, within the framework of GDPR.

**Complaint Resolution**
- Listen to and record all complaints from residents, actioning as necessary and liaising with the required contacts, both internally and externally.
- Identify any issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Build and maintain trust and loyalty by resolving concerns effectively, or by escalating to the Facilities Director.

**Community Reputation**
- Build and maintain a high level of resident satisfaction within all areas of the retirement village.
- Build and maintain strong positive community relationships.
- Promote a safe and secure living environment for retired individuals.

**Administration, Record Keeping and Communication**
- Maintain all records whether on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis, as required.
- Attend meetings as required and produce accurate and timely minutes.
- Produce correspondence and reports as required by the Finance Director.
- Liaise with other departments and provide them with accurate information as required.
- Update and maintain all resident information packs.
- Liaise with the residents on a regular basis to maintain records of facilities/utilities for each apartment.
- Undertake duties for specific systems, e.g. EPOS, Uniware statements, door entry systems, CCTV and the collation and up-dating of residents’ personal details for Centra.
