**Join Our Team as a Learning Support Assistant**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Mainstream Secondary School in Bromley immediately

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Possession of a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate on the update service
- A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields (desirable, but not essential)

**Responsibilities**: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the academic and personal success of students in our school. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Providing individual and group support to students with diverse learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom
- Assisting teachers with the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials as necessary to meet the needs of students
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in classroom activities
- Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other educational interventions
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students
