Girls Group Volunteer

GFS offers weekly group sessions to that offer support, fun and friendship for girls in local communities. We are looking for women who are passionate about helping girls reach their potential by offering new experiences and supporting them to make new friends.
Our group volunteers run a variety of fun and inspiring activities for girls aged 7 - 12 for 2-3 hours once a week during term time over an academic year. They will be supported by a GFS Group Coordinator and we will provide them with a DBS and all training needed for the role. Through volunteering, people would have the chance to develop their skills and gain experience in working with children and support a much-valued service.
We are looking for women happy to share their skills and interests with the girls through a range of activities including arts and crafts, skills for life, sports and community participation.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a voluntary unpaid role.
