Yardsperson - Picker Packer Loader - Forklift

**Job Purpose**

To ensure the right glass is picked and sent to the right customer each time. With a keen eye on quality, you will spot if there is an issue before the glass goes onto our lorry.

You will be ensuring that the correct item matches the paperwork and getting it ready for our drivers using a forklift truck. You will be clearing the yard, doing physical work and organising the yard. This is very much an outside job.

**Job Purpose**

Hours are 7am-4.30pm

**Key Responsibilities**
- Arrange deliveries for customers, ensuring the correct goods are sent out via our delivery vehicles.
- You will be picking customer orders that need to be delivered and will assist in the loading of our delivery vehicles.
- Replenish stock levels, produce stock orders for our suppliers when needed.
- Locating goods in the warehouse
- Completing all associated paperwork
- Generally ensuring that goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time
- Ensuring all activities are conducted within Company Procedural and Legislative guidelines

**Person - Essential**
- Motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Be able to work well in a team.
- You will be proactive, enthusiastic and energetic and able to work in a busy noisy environment.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to multi-task
- Physically fit and prepared to work in a noisy environment lifting pieces of glass

**Qualifications**:
You must have a current forklift license
