Due to recent internal promotions we have two Mortgage Support Assistant roles available in the Retail Mortgages Distribution Team. We are a key team in promoting Aldermore’s mortgages to both the intermediary and direct to consumer markets. By understanding the marketplace and optimizing the tools available to us we are there to help the business achieve its lending ambitions.

We work in a dynamic fast paced environment where knowledge and expertise are central to our approach, the role benefits from a clear progression route into other roles within the business.

The role of Mortgage Support Assistant is really important to us and underpins our ability to deliver great customer outcomes.

This role will be based in our Manchester office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

**What would your day look like?**
- Supporting the Direct Mortgage Advisers and Relationship Manager Direct by delivering exceptional customer service to a new and existing customer base.
- Handling incoming calls, providing criteria information and completing affordability assessments with customers.
- Booking appointments for Mortgage Advisers, providing comprehensive instructions and assistance to customers in preparation.
- Acting as a point of contact for the customer and to be able to receive and interpret customer documentation and assess against underwriting requirements.

**What do we expect of you?**
- Excellent telephone manner - clear, caring and curious.
- Previous experience in a financial services.
- Previous experience of mortgages environment.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer literate with an ability to work with common IT platforms.
- Ability to work productively and efficiently with others and to contribute to team goals and objectives.
