As a Learning Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of students aged 16 to 25 with SEND by delivering personalized learning experiences and supporting their individual needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:Bespoke Curriculum Delivery**: You will collaborate with our curriculum lead to develop personalized curriculums that cater to the specific needs and aspirations of our students. Your dedication to delivering high-quality teaching will enable students to lead independent lifestyles in line with their abilities and aspirations.

**Community-Based Learning**: As a Learning Tutor, you will create innovative learning experiences for our students, utilizing appropriate facilities within the community. Your efforts will empower students to embrace meaningful and independent lives, maximizing their potential.

**Effective Behavior Management**: Your consistent and empathetic approach to behavior management is essential in creating a safe and supportive learning environment. By following clear Personal Improvement Plans (PIPs) or Behavior Management Plans, you will foster a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.

**Engagement and Support**: We value the importance of learner voice, and you will actively engage with students to understand their needs and advocate on their behalf. Your high expectations of both students and staff will inspire a culture of excellence and personal growth.

**Essential Criteria**:
**Level 3 AET or Equivalent**: Your relevant qualification demonstrates your commitment to professional development and equips you with the necessary skills to excel in this role.

**Experience in Supporting Individuals with SEND**: Your previous experience working in a teaching and learning environment with learners who have learning disabilities will be invaluable in understanding and catering to their unique needs.

**Effective Communication Skills**: Your ability to communicate effectively with students with learning disabilities creates a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

**Ability to Manage Challenging Behaviors and Health Needs**: We are seeking individuals who can work independently with students displaying challenging behaviors and various health needs, ensuring their well-being while promoting their academic growth.

**Awareness of Legislation and Data Protection**: Your understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Mental Capacity Act and Valuing People, coupled with knowledge of data protection and GDPR, is essential to maintain confidentiality and uphold student privacy.
