Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Shutdown TAR Planner based at Site in Barrow in Furness for a 12 month duration.

Main duties:

- Coordinate the development of detailed level 4 plans (by system) including commissioning/decommissioning, E&I, machinery and project work. This will be inclusive of any pre-turnaround preparation work and will allow ‘what-if’ scenario reviews. Ensures that all planning activities are scheduled and progress monitored on a regular basis.
- Ensures the network plans are sufficiently detailed enough to identify all service and specialist vendor requirements in order to accurately forecast resource levels and start dates.
- Ensures the network plans contain all the necessary hold points (process, production, inspection) and that each function signs off pre-TAR to agree to these hold points.
- Responsible for undertaking budget and schedule risk analysis of execution plans.
- Provides manhour estimates for all work.
- Ensures that the planning networks are fully integrated, logic linked and includes all trades/disciplines (i.e. projects, electrical, instrumentation, analysers etc.).
- Coordinates the development of the shutting down and restart plans with Production and integrates within the planning networks.
- Provides the overall coordination to level resources and optimise utilisation.
- Ensures that any work that can be done pre-TAR is identified in a way that allows a steady ramp-up of labour presence within the unit for execution by the field teams.
- Liaises with routine maintenance personnel to ensure site resources are optimised.
- Facilitates critical path workshops to review the network CP and minimise duration through innovation.

Skills / Qualifications:

- Communicates the plan in a manner specific to each target group and obtains the buy-in of all functions prior to execution.
- Develops basic reporting system for each TAR to report progress in terms of schedule and productivity on a daily basis during the shutdown
- Provide planning input to Terminal 4 week look ahead plan and TAR plan
- Attend all necessary reviews
- Manage emergent work plans
- Update progress daily following 15.00 hr cut off with quality and accurate reports
- Input into daily TAR reports and daily calls.
