You will manage the Administration Team on site and work closely with the Clinical Team to provide an excellent out patient service

As a Team Leader it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those of UHL and the Alliance.

The post holder will need to be flexible as they may be required to undertake cross site working to meet the needs of the service.

Normal working hours for the department are between 8am and 5pm.

To line manage the Administration Team at St Luke's Hospital. Facilitate the continuous provision of high quality administrative support to medical/healthcare professionals, service users and Alliance Management. Work with the Service Manager in providing leadership, direction and support to administrative staff, whilst developing effective working relationships, efficient practices and a motivated workforce.

Support the Service Manager in the management of day case and out-patient waiting lists, in compliance with local, regional and national targets, policies and initiatives.

- Management of the administration team
- Close supervision and monitoring of all admin and typing services to ensure that under service development and improvement, quality standards are met.
- Monitor dictation, waiting times and coordinate workloads to meet the agreed targets and turnaround times on a day to day basis. This will involve ensuring delivery to agreed standards and maximising productivity of staff equally within the service
- Designated Budget management.
- Undertake PDR’s and sickness reviews in line with the Trust policy and action taken for staff.
